Function/Activity: To document the collection, transport, storage and disposal of hazardous waste from campus facilities including chemical, radioactive and biomedical waste.

Description/Type of Records: Waste disposal authorization forms, shipping documents, certificates of destruction, summary disposal reports, inspection and testing records, employee training records, Nuclear Energy Worker registration forms and correspondence

Restrictions:
Access to this series shall be limited to those with the authority for the following purposes:

  1. File and/or case management
  2. Approval of the disposition request
  3. Legal review
  4. Research (at the discretion of the Director, Environmental, Health and Safety)
