From the artist’s website: Two similar books (same format, but different text) with anonymous women’s stories about being sexually abused as girls, in their own homes. Each page is a quilt square, pieced with the “Little House” traditional quilt pattern. The squares are stiffened and each book opens up to form a three-dimensional house.
