The Eugene Strens Recreational Mathematics Collection
The Eugene Strens Recreational Mathematics Collection was acquired through the dedication and generosity of Professor Richard and Mrs. Louise Guy, the estate of Eugene Strens and many other individuals who established the original collection of books, periodicals, puzzles and manuscripts. The collection includes works in English, French and many other languages and date from the 17th to the 20th century. The collection has grown through the donation of funds, individual titles or the personal libraries of recreational mathematicians such as Charles W. Trigg, Wade Philpott, Martin Gardner, William Schaaf, and Leon Bankoff.
