Canadian architects. The firm of Stevenson Raines is Calgary's oldest architectural firm, dating back to the beginning of the 20th century when it was known as Lawson & O'Gara. The drawings represent projects from all phases of the firm's development and reflect the architectural activity of Calgary in particular and southern Alberta in general.

Significant projects include: various Calgary Exhibition and Stampede buildings; Calgary International Airport ; Mount Royal College; Braemar Lodge; Knox United Church; Bailey Residence; Sacred Heart Church Addition; MacEwan Hall (University of Calgary); Calgary Public School Board Education Centre; Lacombe Vocational High School.

Fonds consists of drawings, models, display materials, specifications, correspondence and office files of the architectural firm Stevenson Raines, 1905-1978.

Title based on contents of fonds.

Acquired by donation in 1977, 1978, 1979, 1980, 1981, 1982, 1983, 1984, 1985, 1986, 1987, and 1992.
