Special Collections is part of the Archives & Special Collections department at the University of Calgary Libraries and Cultural Resources.

Mission:  To acquire, preserve and make accessible collections which include print and archival materials and relevant artifacts with regional, national and international significance.

Vision: To present outstanding resources in a supportive environment which provide an exceptional experience to inspire students, faculty and community members to learn, create new knowledge, and continue life-long learning

Mandate: To support learning, teaching, research and inquiry in fulfillment of the mission and vision of Libraries and Cultural Resources and that of the University of Calgary
