Fonds consists of correspondence; daytimers, diaries and journals; manuscripts of fiction - novels, poetry, radio play, short stories, stage plays; and non-fiction - thesis and dissertation, prose monographs, autobiography, articles, book reviews and academic papers; published works; material relating to H.M. Buss's education and teaching and other professional activities including editing; works about H.M. Buss and miscellaneous. Fonds also includes 0.125 metres of manuscript material by H.J. Clarke (H.M. Buss's father) and his brother Leonard Clarke.
