Retention Rule Number: Specific Retention Rule 2011.06

Function/Activity: To document the management of minor and major security incidents.

Description/Type of Records: Incident reports, accident/illness reports, witness statements, campus security statements, security alerts, security alert checklists and emergency checklists, dispatch logs, and statistical reports. NOTE: For incidents resulting in insurance claims, see Specific Retention Rule 2011.02 – Insurance Claims

Restrictions:
Access to this series shall be limited to those with the authority for the following purposes:

  1. File and/or case management
  2. Legal review
  3. Research (at the discretion of the Director, Campus Security)
