Function/Activity: To document the provision of information, data and analysis to clients.

Description/Type of Records: Correspondence, meeting notes, working papers, survey data, project queries and results, request forms, project reports.

Retention Rules

Office of Primary Responsibility (OPR) Retention Disposition
Office of Institutional Analysis:
     Incidental Project Files 25 years from end of project. Confidential shred or delete.
     Major Project Files 25 years from end of project. Confidential shred or delete.
     Major Project Reports End of project Transfer to Archives
Office of Secondary Responsibility (OSR) Retention Disposition
Faculties and Departments and Administrative Units Discretion of unit. Confidential shred or delete

Restrictions:
Access to this series shall be limited to those with the authority for the following purposes:

  1. File and/or case management.
  2. Legal review.
  3. Research (at the discretion of the Director, Office of Institutional Analysis).
